summer nights
the fields shine bright from the moonlight
it flickers in the drops that the warm air has left
for the night
on the lake are strange reflections
an abstruse image of the world you haven’t seen it before
and it makes you feel it’s a cold summer night...
the nights are cold when the fields shine bright
from the moon and the stars
so you better hold on to whatever you got
that keeps you warm
people gather round their fires
for it’s warmth and it’s light but what really keeps them warm
are the friends by their side
while the sun is coming back it colours everything in red
and as it’s slightly getting brighter you remember
what you should never forget…
