NEER DOSA
Ingredients
2½ cups rice, soaked
1 cup fresh scarped coconut
Salt to taste
Oil for greasing
Method
1. Line a platter with a banana leaf.
2. Heat a non-stick pan.
3. Grind together coconut and drained rice to make a smooth mixture. Add some water and grind to make a smooth batter.
4. Add salt and ½ cup water to the batter and mix well to make a thin batter.
5. Grease the hot pan with some oil, pour a ladleful of batter and swirl to make a thin disc. Cover, cook from one side for ½ second to 1 minute and fold into a triangle.
6. Serve hot on the lined platter.
