One year after Kenyan troops' integration into the broader African Mission in Somalia, the Kenyan force has liberated the coveted coastal city of Kismayo and a total of 19 other towns and routes but Al Shabaab have since changed tact, and the KDF have now to deal with a guerrilla force that is still able to recruit and attack.
