One of the most awaited projects around the vicinity of Mumbai, the Quadrupling of railway tracks from Virar to Dahanu road, exclusively for suburban trains.
MRVC has recently announced an expected deadline for the project, which happens to be December 2025. Looking at the speed at which the project is progressing, the deadline now seems achievable.
MRVC has to clear many hurdles and challenges related to forest clearances en route this project. But we Shall hope, the project completes seamlessly for the betterment of the area and people residing between Virar and Dahanu Road.
