This is all there is that moves and and happens with you pull the shifter! The pin you see is on the Rooster Comb. It is bolted to the transmission lever shaft and the lever where the shifter is pinned to, is bolted to it as well. When you pull the shifter, it moves the lever and the lever moves the rooster and the pin in the rooster moves the manual valve to the next position in the Valve Body which direct fluid to the next gear passages in the Valve Body. That little pin, is all that does the work at the end of the day! Shifter adjustment note - ANYTHING less than perfect in all forward gears and Rev is NOT GOOD ENOUGH
