8.2 mounts! Looking at each of the 29 new 8.2 mounts coming to WoW in Patch 8.2 (no 8.2 release date yet). WoW's patch 8.2 is introducing the new zones of Mechagon and Nazjatar, with plenty of themed mounts to match!

These are all of the new mounts listed in the mount journal on the 8.2 PTR as of the recording of this video on May 1, 2019.

Patch 8.2 has 29 new mounts from a handful of sources. Some of the new 8.2 mounts are faction specific, so one character won't be able to collect all of them. Note that for the Child of Torcali, the questline is Horde but the mount itself is not marked as Horde only. It's possible that in 8.2 a Horde character can unlock the Child of Torcali mount, then use it on Alliance characters of that account.

The main sources of mounts in 8.2 are rep, Mechagon and Nazjatar. Each of the BfA faction zone reps are getting a new flying mount for 90K each: The Stormsong Coastwatcher is for Storm’s Wake, the Proudmoore Sea Scout is Proudmoore Admiralty and the Dusky Waycrest Gryphon is from the Order of the Embers. The Captured Swampstalker is from Talanji’s Expedition, the Voldunai Dunescraper is obviously Voldunai and the Zandalari Empire gets the Spectral Pterrorwing. These will be available on the rep vendors in 8.2 for gold, if you're exalted with that reputation.

For Mechagon mounts, you'll be searching for the X-995 Mechanocat, Rustbolt Resistor, Aerial Unit R-21/X, Mechagon Peacekeeper, Scrapforged Mechaspider, Rusty Mechanocrawler, Mechacyle Model W, and Junkheap Drifter. Some of those 8.2 mounts are from the Operation: Mechagon mega dungeon, and many are from outdoor Mechagon achievements and rares.

For Nazjatar mounts, we have four Waveray colors. The Ankoan Waveray and Unshackled Waveray mounts are from Ankoan and Unshackled 8.2 reputations., The Azshari Bloatray is from the new Eternal Palace raid meta achievement, and the Silent Glider drops from the Soundless Nazjatar rare. The Snapback Scuttler is the sideways-walking crab mount. There's also three colors of Snapdragons- the Royal Snapdragon, Deepcoral Snapdragon and Snapdragon Kelpstalker. Tidestallion 8.2 mounts also come in three colors: Inkscale Deepseeker, Fabious and the Crimson Tidestallion.
