This approach starts almost abeam Ibiza airport with beautiful views of the Islands of Formentera, Espardell and Espalmador. We pass along Es Vedra Island and Cala Jondal Beach.. Moments before landing there are nice views of the Ibiza salt mines (Ses Salines) and Es Codolar Beach.

Due to other arriving and departing traffic and the required distances in between, we have to fly a long approach to the island. During the final approach, we follow the ILS (instrument landing system) of runway 06 and touch down smoothly on the 2800 meters (9200 feet) runway.
