Qualcomm Automotive Investor Day took place on September 22, 2022 at the Classic Car Club Manhattan in Hudson Yards, New York, New York. Qualcomm executives discussed the trajectory of Qualcomm and its Automotive business.
Qualcomm speakers included Qualcomm President & CEO, Cristiano Amon, Qualcomm Chief Financial Officer, Akash Palkhiwala, and Nakul Duggal, Senior Vice President & GM, Automotive, Qualcomm. The Qualcomm executives discussed the precipitous growth of the Qualcomm Automotive business in the past few years, with a specific new detail: Qualcomm has updated its automotive design-win pipeline to $30 billion, an $11 billion increase in the two months since Qualcomm’s FY22 Q3 earnings call.
Another theme of the event was Qualcomm’s collaboration with many different automakers, all enabled by the Snapdragon Digital Chassis. From car-to-cloud, C-V2X, and autonomous driving applications with Snapdragon Ride, the Snapdragon Digital Chassis is accelerating the digital transformation of automotive.
CEOs from brands such as GM, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Honda, as well as many other collaborators, all spoke about how Qualcomm is enabling their businesses.
