You know, I've literally always thought about Flavor Flav's place in Public Enemy; next to Chuck D., one of rap's biggest political firebrands, is some hype man who likes huge clocks and...um, doesn't really do anything? I always wondered how the band could reconcile the two sides, and how Chuck even got along with Flav. Well, today we got our answer...at least if it sticks.
God, what a ridiculously of the times song this is. Bring The Noise has been remixed like a hundred times, and this isn't even the first time the song has met with a metal titan, I'm sure every Tony Hawk fan remembers the Anthrax version. They should have split the difference between this and I'm The Man and just got that one. But instead we have a custom guitar remix by Zakk Wylde, GH's first and probably longest running celebrity supporter/collaborator. But this song's inclusion in GH5 is clearly just marketing for DJ Hero, so that's a full slot in your next major title just wasted. Also this song has rhythm guitar, so there's no bass in a song whose first lyric is "bass, how low can you go?". Awful.
