Pluckley is in the Guinness Book of records as it is reputed to be the most haunted village in Britain. It is reputed to have at least 15 ghosts. Some of these are:

The hanging body of a schoolmaster in Dicky Buss’s Lane
A colonel who hanged himself in Park Wood
The Blackhorse Pub has the reputation of being the most haunted pub in Kent.
The Derring Arms used to be a hunting lodge and is said to be home to the ghost of a woman wearing a bonnet.
A man smothered by a wall of clay who drowned at the brickworks
The Lady of Rose Court, who is said to have poisoned herself in despair over a love triangle
The Gypsy Ghost. The bridge is said to be haunted by a gypsy woman, who made her living selling the watercress she collected from the stream below.
The Red Lady, reputedly a member of the Dering family who haunts the churchyard of St Nicholas’s Church. A small white dog has also been reported in the same location
Derring Wood aka The Screaming Woods where you can hear the sounds of those who died while lost in he misty woods
So I actually did visit Pluckley a couple of weeks ago and was able to film most of the haunted locations over there and I think that a couple of them had been burned down. But regardless of that this film is full of fright and variety due to the high number of ghosts that still seem to roam the village...
