How To Use Split Screen & Multi Windows On Samsung A55 | InnoTech 360
Split Screen Mode
Split screen mode allows you to run two apps simultaneously, side by side on the screen.
Open the first app: Start by opening the first app you want to use in split screen mode.
Open the Recent Apps screen: Tap the Recent Apps button (usually located on the bottom left or bottom right, depending on your navigation setup). This button is typically represented by a square or three horizontal lines.
Select the second app: In the Recent Apps screen, find the app you want to use in split screen mode. Tap and hold its icon until you see a menu of options.
Choose "Open in split screen view": From the menu that appears, select "Open in split screen view." Alternatively, some devices may require you to drag the app's icon to the top or bottom of the screen to initiate split screen mode.
Adjust the split: The screen will now split, with both apps running side by side. You can adjust the divider between the apps by dragging it up or down to resize each app window.
Exit split screen mode: To exit split screen mode, drag the divider all the way to the top or bottom of the screen until one of the apps disappears. Alternatively, you can tap and hold the Recent Apps button again and select "Exit split screen."
Multi Window Mode
Multi window mode allows you to run multiple apps simultaneously in resizable windows.
Open the first app: Start by opening the first app you want to use in multi window mode.
Open the Recent Apps screen: Tap the Recent Apps button to open the list of recently used apps.
Open the second app: Find the second app you want to use. Tap and hold its icon until a menu appears.
Choose "Open in multi window" or "Open in pop-up view": Depending on your device and software version, you may see different options. Select "Open in multi window" to open both apps in split view. Some devices may offer "Open in pop-up view" instead, which opens the app in a smaller floating window that can be moved around the screen.
Adjust the windows: Both apps will now appear on the screen. You can resize and rearrange them by dragging the corners or sides of each window.
Use additional features (optional): Some Samsung devices allow you to add more apps to the multi window setup. You can access this feature by tapping the circle icon with a plus sign that appears when you're in multi window mode.
Exit multi window mode: To exit multi window mode, simply close the apps or tap and hold the Recent Apps button to select "Exit multi window."
