How to insert and remove RIE (Receiver-in-Ear) hearing aids
Step 1. Identify your right and left hearing aids using the color indicators.
For the right ear, select the device with the red color indicator. The left hearing aid has a blue color indicator.
Step 2. Hang the ReSound RIE hearing aid over the top of your right ear and hold the receiver tube where it bends.
Step 3. Gently push the receiver and dome into the ear canal.
Step 4. Ensure that the dome is far enough into the ear canal so that it is comfortable and the receiver wire rests against your head.
Step 5. To remove your hearing aid, hold the receiver wire with your thumb and forefinger where it bends and pull the dome out of your ear canal.
Step 6. Lift your ReSound RIE hearing aid off of your ear.
