If you have been following our channel, then you may already know that I have been obsessed with 2-channel RC airplanes. Why? Because they provide the most affordable and easiest entry to our hobby. However, they also carry a critical responsibility: if they do not provide a great experience right out of the box, then they may scare newcomers away from the hobby.
Hence, as an RC flying enthusiast and supporter, I feel that it is my duty to provide unbiased reviews and recommendations for the RC airplanes in this important 2-channel segment. The more people become RC hobbyists, the healthier and stronger our RC community will become.
I purchased this Flybear (a.k.a. Fei Xiong) FX620 2-channel EPP micro jet from AliExpress for an amazingly low $19.39 shipped to my door:

Inside the box, everything was well packaged and organized. The airplane came out of the box fully assembled. However, the box had sustained some damage during its journey, so the vertical stabilizers were a bit warped. Since this airplane is made of elastic and durable EPP (Expanded Polypropylene), it was easy to bend them back to shape. After that, the airplane only needed its landing gear to be pushed into their slots, its battery charged, and two AA batteries (not provided) inserted into its transmitter to get it ready for its first flight.
It flew great as well right out of the box, without the need to add any weight to adjust the center of gravity (CG). Overall, it is a fantastic little RC airplane, and it is perfect for beginners. It is even better than its older sibling FX820, which I had reviewed before. Here are the links to those two review videos:

And it flew as good as its twin sibling, the Flybear FX635:

Unlike the FX635, this FX620 came with two little LED jacks under its wings, which is a great bonus for me, because I love night flying. So, next I will be installing small LED strips to its wings and then flying it in the dark. Please stay tuned for that episode!
