A quick and easy to make Chili that packs a ton of flavor. This recipe is great on its own and great for making chili dogs. Not much preparation is required and the beef can be substituted for ground turkey if looking for a healthier choice. The idea of the Shorts is to use as a reference once you've seen the detail video.

List of Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef 80/20
1 Green Bell Pepper Diced
1 Yellow Onion Diced
3 cloves garlic, Chopped
28oz Crushed Tomatoes
One 12-ounce can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1-1/2 tablespoons Paprika
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 Packet Sazón Goya
3 Tablespoons of Sugar [ Try 2 first then adjust to balance the tomatoes natural acidity]
Salt and Fresh Pepper to Taste
3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
One 15-ounce can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
One 15-ounce can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup beef\chicken broth or water
Toppings:
Shredded Cheddar
Chopped onions or scallions
Chopped Cilantro
Crushed Tortilla chips or Crackers
Sour Cream
Lime wedges
Recipe
1. Dice Onion and Bell Pepper and sauté for about 5 minutes in hot Olive Oil or until onions are translucent.
2. Add Garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
3. Add the ground beef and cook over medium heat until browned. Add tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, oregano, cayenne, sugar, salt and pepper. Add beans and stir together well, cover, and then reduce the heat to low. Simmer for at least 30 minutes.
4. After 30 minutes, crush some of the beans with a potato masher or fork to thicken the chili. Cook for another 10 minutes. Serve with toppings.
