In this video we will be seeing how to make aloo malai recipe in tamil and we will be doing it in the classic dhaba style
This is a classic aloo malai matar recipe which people prefer to eat with their chapati and puri as this is one of best and simple dishes which goes best along with both !!!
This is also the infamous puri masala as people call it in the south only the puri masala will be made much more easier without the addition of malai and green peas and a slight change in the ingredients and recipe
You guys should definitely give this a try and give your taste buds a delight!!

INGREDIENTS:
Potato -300 gm ( boiled)
Onion -2 no
Peas -100 gm
Tomato - 1 nos
Garlic - 4 pods
Ginger - 1 small piece
Garam masala -1/4tsp
Curry powder -1/4 tap
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Malai -100ml
Green chilly -3 nos
Chilly powder -1 tsp
Cinnamon -1 piece
Clove - 3 nos
Fennel seed - 1 tsp
METHOD:
1) In a pan pour sunflower oil(1tbs), after the oil gets heated put crushed cinnamon+clove+fennel seed and fry until light brown
2) Put ginger(cut)+garlic(cut), fry until light brown ,
3) Add diced onion and chillies ,fry until light golden brown
4) Add tirmeric powder ,garam masala powder , curry powder ,chilli powder , fry for one minute
5) Add tomatoes, required amount of salt , cook for five minutes
6) Pour water , cook until the tomatoes get mushy
7) Add frozen peas and boiled potatoes (mashed), pour some water and cook for 5-10 minutes
8) Pour malai and cook for two minutes
9) Add kasuri methi , coriander leaves and our aloo malai is now ready to serve
(Note : We have used frozen peas in this recipe , if you are using fresh peas then please add it along with the tomatoes so that the peas are well cooked
This aloo malai masala goes well with chapati and puri )
