#YooNose Revision rhinoplasty was performed using rib cartilage and DCF (diced cartilage fascia) to remove a previously placed synthetic implant (silicone) and to replace it with natural tissue from her own body. Silicone, Goretex, Medpor and other synthetic implants are problematic in that they never integrate with the nose and always remain as a foreign body that causes injury to the nose.
