In this episode, I'm adventuring in the Dolomiti Friulane, a wild area in the eastern side of Dolomites. The goal is to reach the top of Monte Cridola, a 2581m peak that is famous for its many towers and pinnacles. It's a place I have always dreamed to visit, so I was really happy to finally explore this incredible landscape!
After almost 4 hours of hike/climb on unstable terrain (1400m D+), I found a great place to set my tent and enjoy the incredible scenaries all around. Even though I didn't reach the top (my backpack was too heavy for climbing and there was some snow left in the culoir) the view was insane!
NOTE: the last part of the ascent is an easy alpine route up to 2nd grade climbing. Please approach this kind of routes ONLY if you have some mountain experience or with a guide.
I've been very lucky to find great light conditions both at sunrise and sunset, that allowed me to capture some great photos and some very nice aerial videos.
Hope you enjoy them :)
