Loren Mell, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist who specializes in head and neck cancers. His research interests include intensity modulated radiation therapy and image-guided radiation therapy. Dr. Mell is the chief of radiation oncology services and director of the clinical and translational research division of the Department of Radiation Medicine and Applied Sciences at UC San Diego Health.
