Shelley Duvall a beloved Hollywood actress known for her roles in “The Shining,” passed away at 75 in Blanco, Texas. Duvall died in her sleep at her home, and the cause was complications of diabetes.

She was also facing mental health issues and in 2016, Duvall courageously appeared on Dr. Phil, open up about her mental health struggles "I am very sick. I need help."Her husband Dan Gilroy also shared about her mental health situation by saying:

“Things went downhill when she started becoming afraid of things, She became paranoid and just kind of delusional, thinking she was being attacked. ... She tried to make calls to the F.B.I and asked our neighbor to protect us.”

Duvall's partner on 11 July, shared the news of her passing, expressing his grief and relief that she is now free from suffering. "My dear, sweet, wonderful life partner and friend left us. Too much suffering lately, now she's free. Fly away, beautiful Shelley."
