Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams has been released without charge from Northern Irish police custody after questioning over the 1972 murder of Jean McConville.
Speaking to journalists shortly after his release on Sunday evening, Adams once again declared his innocence.
"Let me be very clear, I am innocent of any involvement in any conspiracy to abduct, kill or bury Mrs. McConville. I've worked with others to have this injustice redressed," Adams told a news conference.
