After a summer of record-high temperatures, Europe's farmers are not getting a winter respite.
The days are shorter but the drought is continuing - especially in southern Europe.
The ongoing drought has dried up the soils and severely affected various cultivations.
That means the crops farmers have grown for centuries may no longer be viable.
