This react is to Filippino singer Marcelito Pomoy singing "The Prayer" (Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli). I was in two minds to upload this react as I feel other platforms (such as AGT) treated his skill as a bit of a gimmick (as they do to a lot of people on their platform) and in doing so created a short lived perception of his raw talent and robbed of him of any viable feedback for him as a singer/performer. In this video I am reacting to him as seriously as I would any other vocalist because that's exactly what he is. In doing so this react was able to dig into contemporary and classical sound production and whether this is still a solid contemporary performance for both the 'female' and 'male' voices Marcelito uses. His raw talent will hopefully be developed both within and outside of singing in '2 voices' because his instincts, vocal colour and control deserves it.
