Democracy Seminar and Transregional Center for Democratic Studies welcomes you to the "Democracy and the Pandemic" conference. The conference was hosted online in May and featured prominent academics from around the world who discussed the implications of the pandemic for democracy and authoritarianism.
The first session addressed the question: How are the state responses to the pandemic strengthening authoritarian regimes?
