Short, medium and long-term corruption trends for Dominica and other Caribbean countries are presented in this video using scores published by Transparency International in their Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2023 report.
The video reviews Dominica’s performance in addressing corruption in the periods 2012-2023, 2018-2023 and 2022-2023.
Dominica’s CPI score recorded a small overall decline in 2012-2023. After a small advance in 2012- 2016 the country’s CPI score declined during 2016-2019 and later made a modest gain in 2022-2023.
The rate of change in the country’s CPI score was slightly less than the rate of change in average Caribbean and global CPI scores in 2012-2023 and 2018-2023 while the reverse outcome arose in 2022-2023.
Dominica’s CPI score exceeded average Caribbean and global CPI scores continuously throughout 2012-2023. #corruption #dominica #caribbean
