Dr. Ashly LaRoche introduces a new service for Animal Hospital of Statesville patients! Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy is now available here at AHS. This is a non-invasive procedure that, among other diagnostic uses, may be able to retrieve what we call "foreign bodies" like toys, small objects or pieces of objects, from your pet's digestive tract while under anesthesia. This procedure may be used oftentimes in lieu of more risky surgery.
