The Crucified Christ in Huila, is a symbol of the Catholic faith, it was built with capacity for 500 people and due to its size it is much larger than others such as the Cristo de la Concordia, a statue with a total height of 40 meters in Cochabamba (Bolivia) or the famous Christ the Redeemer or Christ of Corcovado showing Jesus of Nazareth with open arms in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, whose total height is 38.1 meters. Even in Poland there is one of 55.5 meters. The work built in Colombia surpasses all of them in size.

This is one of the only churches of its type and size, as it is 80 meters long and has a capacity for 500 parishioners.
