It is so exciting following the progress and watching the next generation growing up, we were lucky to spend some quality time with the 5 sub adult Ngotso young brothers during the past month. We first had a glimpse of some of them as tiny cubs from different litters in August 2019, so they are around 2 years and a few months old.
They have thrived under the protection of their massive fathers and with the abundant provision of their mothers' expert hunting skills. They will probably be pushed out on their own very soon and hopefully they stick together, grow stronger and make smart decisions as they form into a formidable future coalition. As sons of one of the Kruger National Park's most well liked and impressive coalitions they have had a privileged start in life.
It was really funny watching 1 of the pride's new cubs bonding and being groomed by big brother at the end of the video.
