In 1979 ABBA donated royalties for the song Chiquitita to UNICEF. For 35 years this song has silently raised important funds to UNICEF’s work for children all around the world. Now it’s time to increase the volume and make a new start. The new partnership between UNICEF Sweden and ABBA the Museum will help us do more for children’s rights. Royalties from the song will go to programs supporting young girls. New versions of the song with contemporary artists, and new ways to give when listening to music will make it happen. All we ask for from you is to lend us an ear. And to spread the word.
