“Seeing is a great deal more than believing”. Visual culture is not just a part of our everyday life, it is our everyday life. Can we help learners explore the wealth of images that surround us and enhance their language learning outcomes? This talk aims at exploring this issue and providing ideas for the use of images in the classroom.
Andréia has worked as a language teacher since 2003. She currently works at the Academic Department of the Cultura Inglesa São Paulo and is involved in teacher training initiatives and course design.
