How effective is Sylfirm X?
The effectiveness of Sylfirm X has been clinically proven to improve overall skin tone, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, minimise pore size and improve skin texture.

What can I expect from Sylfirm X?
Numbing cream is applied prior to the treatment to reduce discomfort. The treatment is generally bearable for most patients, however, this is subjected to the individual’s pain tolerance.

After the treatment, patients would experience redness over the treatment area. This would typically last for 6-12 hours. As SYLFIRM X stimulates collagen production, the complexion and laxity of the skin will progressively improve over a period of 4-6 weeks, however the results vary depending on the individual’s natural healing ability as everyone is unique.

How many sessions to see results?
Sylfirm X will typically require about 3-4 sessions. Depending on the patient’s diagnosis, more treatments may be required.

Is Sylfirm X a painful treatment?
Sylfirm X is a minimally invasive treatment, most patients find Sylfirm X treatment to be bearable. Some may experience a slight prickling sensation when the needle penetrates the skin during the treatment. However numbing cream can be applied upon request to ensure that patients have a more comfortable experience.

You will notice redness over the treatment area immediately after the treatment, this is expected and is the result of mild swelling and tightening.

How is Sylfirm X different from other microneedling treatments?
Sylfirm X is the only device that features a dual wave radio frequency and 8 different modes and the widest depth range of needle from 0.3-4.0mm compared to other RF micro-needling systems in the world.

With its unique 0.3mm needle depth, Sylfirm X is able to target the dermal epidermal junction, improve pigmentation conditions such as Melasma, strengthen skin barrier and improve collagen production.

Sylfirm X is highly effective for treating acne scars as compared to other RF treatments with much less downtime. Traditional treatments with fractional laser for acne scars would typically require 5-7 days of downtime and carries with it an increased risk of PIH. Sylfirm X has a downtime of 1-2 days and also carries a much lower risk of PIH compared to laser treatments.

Can Sylfirm X be combined with other treatments?
Sylfirm X can be combined with other treatments such as Profhilo, BTX, HIFU and even Pico laser, but we advise against doing all of the treatments on the same day.

How is Sylfirm X different from surgical facelift?
The main difference between the 2 treatments lies in its approach to the patient’s condition. Although traditional surgical facelift presents longer lasting results, it carries the risks of bleeding, infection and possible scarring.

Sylfirm X is non-invasive and non-surgical, meaning that you are free from the risk of surgical complications and the only risk presented in this treatment is mild redness and swelling after treatment which typically last for 1-2 days.

What should I do before/after Sylfirm X treatment?
To prevent possible complications to the skin We strongly advise patients to remove all makeup, creams or oils before coming in for treatment. Patients can still continue with their daily activities post treatment but try to

- Hydrate yourself by drinking lots of water
- Avoid being exposed to the sun for prolonged periods of time
- Regularly washing the face with cool or lukewarm water
- Moisturise the skin, preferably a moisturiser with SPF Protection
