Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown accomplished something significant last season... yes they bought home the Celtics' first NBA title since 2008, but they also proved a major point. They showed their biggest critics that they are more than just a high scoring 1-2 punch... but they can also take that to a level that is worthy of bringing home a title. There are other NBA players that have major points to prove this coming season from an individual standpoint, whether it's showing the same thing that Brown and Tatum did (proving that their play can be good enough to win a title), or just showing that they can be consistent from a year in and year out basis. Joel Embiid, Victor Wembanyama, Damian Lillard, and Anthony Edwards are a few who have major statements to make this coming season.
