April Churchill is a traditional Haida weaver, educator, and former Vice President of the Council of the Haida Nation. An archipelago off the northern coast of British Columbia, Haida Gwaii is home to FSC-certified Taan Forest, a forestry operation certified by the Rainforest Alliance and owned by the people of the Haida Nation.
