Ingredients
1 kg boneless beef
1 cup split yellow lentil/chana daal, soaked in water for 4 hours
3 medium onions
2 Tbsp Shan ginger garlic paste
1 pkt Shan Shami Kebab Mix
2 eggs
½ cup chopped fresh coriander
oil for frying
Method
Take all the ingredients except oil, fresh coriander, and eggs in a cooking pot. Add 6 cups water. Bring to a boil. Cover and allow to cook until meat and lentils are completely tender. Use an electric hand mixer to coarsely ground the mixture. This will ensure a thread-like consistency. Allow to cool completely and then add eggs and coriander. Combine well.
Shape into round flat patties. Heat oil in a pan and deep/shallow fry the kababs until golden brown on both sides.
