Fish is a very good source of protein.It has very less fat and supplies jodine too. Fish cutlets are very tasty and can be eaten at any time.Why to get them from street or restaurant when you can make them at home.
Ingredients
Fish boneless........……………. 4-5 pieces boiled & mashed
Roasted gram flour (besan)…… 4 tsp
Bread crums.........…………….. 5 slices
Oil........................…………….. I cup for frying
Onion chopped......…………….. 1 med.size
Ginger & garlic paste……………1 tsp
Lemon juice..........…………….. 1/2 lemon
Green chilli............…………….. 2 chopped
Red chilli powder...…………….. 1/2 tsp
Salt...................……………….. to taste
Garam masala powder ………....1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves..………………. 2 tbs
Corn flour............………………. 5 tsp diluted
Method
1) Wash fish pieces with white vinegar and water properly.
2) Boil fish pieces till soft.Remove the bones.
3) Take the fish add roasted besan or chic pea flour,add coriander leaves ginger & garlic paste,green chillis,red chilli powder,garam masala powder & salt to taste.
4) Add lemon juice & mix it properly,add chopped onion.
5) Take a shallow pan ,add oil, heat up the oil.Shape them & roll into bread crumbs,dip into diluted corn flour & again roll into bread crumbs & fry from both the sides till golden & crispy.
6) Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
