My ride in Crashed B-17 Collings Foundation 909. RIP. I'm posting this (in honor of those who died in the tragic accident and thos many more who met their fate in WWII in a Flying Fortress) after hearing the news of the crash which killed 7 people. It’s do it again in a heartbeat. Every supercar crashes eventually. I’d drive them all too. My Facebook note: "This B-17 I flew in crashed killing 7 people. I just found out. I'm shocked, sad and feeling lucky. Extremely lucky- both to have had that most amazing experience, and to be alive right now. RIP to those involved- I probably shook their hands. It was the Collings Foundation charity B-17." ... "It was definitely dangerous- we all knew that intrinsically. We signed up for that (literally signed a waiver). The people who originally flew that into war had some real guts. I gained an uncanny respect for that history. I still say let them ride- everything crashes eventually."
