This 1942 Ford GPW WWII Jeep sat in a hanger at the Prescott AZ Airport for years. I have purchased it and am getting it to start so I can figure out the condition of the engine and drivetrain. I spent a coupke of months getting back to its original WWII standards after finding and installing many items that had been stripped of the Jeep over the years. Correct windshield, steering gear and wheel, correct hand brake, speedometer, instruments, pioneer tools, head, tail and blackout lighting and all the mounting hardware, rebuild the wire harness etc.. The jeep is not restored yet and is currently on display at the TriState Warbird Museum, Batavia OH
