Thengai paal Sadham
Ingredients:
Basmati Rice - 2 cups
Coconut Milk - 2 cups
Water - 1 cup
Ghee - 3 tbsps
Cashew nuts - 10 nos
Biryani masala - 1 tsp
(Biryani masala recipe is already posted, check out the reels)
Starannise & bay. Leaf - 1 nos
Onion - 2 large
Green chillies - 4 nos
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Carrots - 1/4 cup
Green beans - 1/4 cup
Peas - 1/4 cup
Sweet corn - 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Mint leaves - 1/2 cup
Salt as required
Method:
Rinse and soak the rice in coconut milk and water for 20 mins
Heat ghee and fry the cashews and keep it aside
Add biryani masala+Starannise+bay leaf
Add onions sauté till translucent
Add Ginger garlic paste, coriander stem, salt. Sauté till aratic
Add the veggies and give it a stir
Add the soaked rice along with the coconut milk and water
Bring it to boil
Add the fried cashews
Pressure Cook to 1 whistle in low medium heat
Open when the pressure is released
Enjoy with any fry of your choice and raita 🤗
