Should you buy the Interceptor or the Super Meteor 650? 99% of all riders coming into the Royal Enfield 650s will probably find the Interceptor 650 to be a far easier bike to live with, ride in the city and beyond and ride alone as well as with pillion riders. It also happens to be Rs 50,000 cheaper (allow wheels on both) which is insanely good value for a 650 twin if you ask us. The traditional weakness of the Interceptor 650 has usually been its soft rear suspension but quality aftermarket suspension will cost only about 30,000 and give you a calm (or deceptively quick) city and highway bike that's easy to ride, easy to tour on. The Interceptor doesn't have the design/presence of the Super Meteor 650 to be sure but if you're really planning to the put the miles on? The Interceptor is the one.
