👋 In todays review we take a FIRST LOOK at the all new 2022 GMC Hummer EV!! This is a fully electric pickup truck using the Hummer name, but it's not branded as a GMC! The Hummer was discontinued back in 2010 so it's been awhile without the name! But fast forward to 2022, and we now have an electric pickup truck for the Hummer! The exterior has styling from the previous generation Hummers in some angles and actually looks very good and much different than the Hummer H3 which was the pickup version! The exterior styling is very bold and the front end is wide and accommodates the rest of the truck very nicely! This GMC Hummer has whats called the Crab Walk feature which allows the truck to drive at an angle, which could come in handy in certain situations! It also has an adaptive suspension that can raise and lower! The interior on this GMC Hummer has very nice materials and trim accents! It is very similar to other GMC trucks and some of those similarities include the multiflex tailgate, the storage under and behind the back seats and the userface with the infotainment system! It feels like a GMC as it should with some different features or styling!
I'm un able to drive this 2022 GMC Hummer EV Crew Cab Edition 1, but I have driven the Rivian R1T and the Ford F150 Lightning and those truck are fun to drive with less power than the Hummer so I'm sure this would be insane to accelerate! For a heavy truck, it has a quick 0-60 time on paper! I'm sure you could feel that weight around turns and even stopping so hopefully I can drive one soon to really see what it's like!
For another electric vehicle, the GMC Hummer EV is a cool new addition and would be a great daily driver with the range and all the features and technology you would need to put a lot of seat time behind the wheel!
