Parasite Eve II is a survival horror action role-playing video game that was released for the PlayStation in 1999 in Japan and in 2000 in North America and PAL regions. Developed by Square, it is the sequel to the original Parasite Eve and the second game in the series.

Set several years after the events of the first game, Parasite Eve II follows the story of Aya Brea, the protagonist from the previous game, as she becomes embroiled in another outbreak of Neo-Mitochondrial creatures. The game features real-time battles and less restrictive gameplay than its predecessor, with a greater emphasis on traditional survival horror elements, although some role-playing elements are still present. Kenichi Iwao, the writer of Resident Evil (1996), wrote and directed the game.

Parasite Eve II was generally well-received by critics, although it was criticized for its outdated control system.
