Hi! I’m Abdulrhman Uthman, a student of King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia. There are several mega
projects currently being built in the Kingdom including NEOM, Red Sea Islands, and Entertainment City in
Al Qidya. As BS Computer Network student, I am intrigued by NEOM and has been wondering how it will
become a new future on earth like nothing on earth. NEOM, short for “New Future”, is said to capture an
era unrivalled in concept and unmatched in imagination and intelligence. So the question is, “What
NEOM will look like in 2030?”
This series will try to suggest different technologies that may per part of the future of NEOM’s 9 sectors:
energy and water, mobility, biotech, food, advanced manufacturing, media, entertainment, technological
and digital sciences, and living as NEOM’s foundation.
