Finding a good driver to drive your Cargo Van, Box Truck, or even your Semi Truck(CDL) is one of if not the hardest part in starting a trucking company. You have to be willing to do/offer incentives that other trucking companies don't offer.

A lot of trucking companies offer health insurance, as well as 401K matching, if your company doesn't offer those things you have to be creative. Offer to help build or increase your drivers credit score, show them how to invest into Real Estate, Index Funds, or any different business, or even show them how to start their own trucking company from the ground up.

How to start a trucking company, hiring a driver should be one of your main priorities. Being a OWNER OPERATOR is not what it sets out to be, you have to be sure to understand all of your expenses, before hiring a driver.

You can use sites such as indeed, facebook, craigslist, instagram, and twitter to promote your company that you're looking for drivers.

The box trucking business is lucrative, the cargo van business is lucrative, and the tractor trailer business is even bigger, so define which business you want to jump into and learn EVERYTHING you can about them so you can succeed.
