Dendrobium Orchids are a varied group, many easy to grow. They can be roughly divided into two groups, soft caned and hard caned.
Today we look at some hybrids and the beginning of the video and then at sone of the species that are more widely grow.
Dendrobium aemulum is commonly called the Iron Bark Orchid, from Eastern Australia and also New Caledonia
Dendrobium amethystoglossum is from the Philippines, however widely grown for the very attractive flowers.

Dendrobium pentapterum is another from New Guinea and easy to grow.

Dendrobium kingianum is an Australian native Species found from New South Wales through to Rockhampton in Queensland varied in colour from whites to pinks and reds this is a cool growing species.
