The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Association of Pediatrics recommend that the Hepatitis B vaccine be administered at birth to protect newborns from this disease. The program empowers health care providers to discuss the Hepatitis B birth dose with new parents and provides useful information and tools.
