II is the 2nd studio album by Boyz II Men released in 1994. It went on to sell 12 million copies in the United States. It hit #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, where it charted for a total of 99 weeks. It contains the #1 hits "I'll Make Love to You" and "On Bended Knee,” as well as the top 10 hit "Water Runs Dry." The album earned the group 2 Grammy awards. The group became the third artist to replace themselves at No. 1 in the United States after Elvis Presley and The Beatles and the first to achieve the feat in 30 years. Musical styles on the album include R&B, pop, soul, and hip hop soul. The album projects what the group projected on their first album, fire dance tracks and killer ballads that showcased their vocal abilities and impressive harmonies. The album contains some high-energy dance tracks, but the album's main strength is its slower numbers, where the group's vocals soar.
