Here is an option when you fix the roofs in Sanctuary. Let the roof floor boards extend out beyond the house. Build shack walls outside the house, enclosing it. Enclose the car port and enlarge the house. Build walls easily going up. Just another option for your Sanctuary settlement build toolbox!.
