Cântecul este un omagiu adus conducătorului statului român din timpul celui de-al Doilea Război Mondial, anume Mareșalul Ion Antonescu. Cântecul este foarte popular în România, Republica Moldova, dar și în regiunile românești ale Ucrainei. Datorită tematicii,cântecul i-a adus multe probleme cântăreței.
