Watch as Neil Davenport, Managing Director, Fulldome.pro and all round technical wizard, delivers a step-by-step guide to using Stellarium with NDI mirroring in a 360 projection dome.

For this demonstration, Neil sits in front of a 3-metre dome fitted with a cutting-edge Fulldome Pro Media Server. On the table next to him is a Windows PC with an NVidia RTX3070 graphics card, two monitors connected via DisplayPort cables and a third video output connected to the Fulldome.pro Media Server by HDMI.

Stellarium can be challenging due to the unique navigation setup. The square window lacks visible corners to access menus, while the mouse pointer moves on a curved surface, occasionally going out of sight.
To overcome these obstacles, we'll demonstrate how to display the Stellarium window on the second monitor using NDI.

Learn how to switch to Live Input in Fisheye mode using the 360DomeManager to transform the dome into a third display. Effortlessly drag the Google Chrome window from the main display to the second display and then onto the dome screen itself.
