The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts has an amazing cinema program that for nearly 3 years offered a film program for students to experience shooting and editing on 16mm. Taught by Tyler Purcell and sponsored in part by Kodak, the program was very successful with students and many shot their thesis films on motion picture film. This short film was shot by the LACHAS students and Mr. Purcell, as a way to document the program and what the students learned. Special thanks to Kodak and Celluloid Dreaming for help fund this and many other projects on the subject.
