US BUDGET DEAL
U.S. Senate and House Republicans have reached a compromise deal on a federal budget for the first time in six years. They have increased military spending and cut social spending. They aim to eliminate budget deficits in ten years. Congressional aides say the deal will focus on tools to repeal or replace President Barack Obama’s healthcare reform known as “Obamacare.” U.S. budgets are not binding legislations. They serve as the guide to draft spending bills and determine the limits for the next fiscal year.
